FMC Corporation’s Agricultural Sciences plant in Middleport has donated $1,000 to start the fundraising effort for the Middleport Fire Department to upgrade its information technology capabilities.

The donation will assist the department’s plans to rebuild its computer system, including installing a new server, work stations and networking capabilities. The department has been providing quality fire protection and emergency services since 1884 to the Village of Middleport and the Towns of Royalton and Hartland.

“The FMC Middleport plant is proud to help the Middleport Fire Department in its effort to upgrade its information technology capabilities to further enhance its delivery of quality service to the entire Middleport community,” said Dr. Roberta Kloda, FMC Middleport plant manager.
